Two whole days with no rain - What did we get done? Firstly we have made a chicken- tunnel for the hens so they can have some sort of outside time but staying within the rules of the avian influenza lockdown. The idea is to keep them separated from the wild bird population so we have netted off an area for them to have a bit of fun in. The we move the first of the two raised beds made from the slotted compost bins. I am moving them up to the top of the allotment and transplant 4 rhubarb crowns into it. Plenty of well rotted horse manure…etc. Amd the should be happy. Also cleared the courgettes and French beans, transplanted a large patch of Rocket (arugula) and got the Broad Beans planted out. Off camera we did a lot of weeding hahaha! All in all - a good couple of days in the garden!
