Welcome to the official University Rover Challenge (URC) 2026 System Acceptance Review (SAR) video submission for Husky Robotics from the University of Washington! In this video, we demonstrate the rigorous engineering, field testing, and capabilities of our newest Mars rover, Daedalus, and our autonomous carbon fiber drone, Icarus. Designed entirely from the ground up for the extreme conditions of the Mars Desert Research Station, our 2026 system features a robust 6-wheel rocker-bogie suspension, a high-torque 6-DOF robotic arm, advanced autonomous navigation, and a custom dual-detection spectrometer for onboard science.
