Railway Veteran: electric locomotive VL22M-1959 in Bakal

The balance of Bakalskoe Mine Management includes a real railway rarity - VL22M electric locomotive built in 1958. Currently this locomotive is used in shunting and freight operations on the territory of the factory and at Bakal railway station. Interior, engine and cabines are also shown in the video. Due to big debts for electricity this electric locomotive can't move by itself on factory's tracks because of absence of voltage. Nevertheless, VL22M shunting at Bakal station. How it works: The diesel locomotive (showed in the video) is called by VL22M crew to push VL22M 100m to the point with electricity supply. After that diesel loco (TGM4B-0052) comes back to Rudosortirovochnaya station (engineers call it Yuzhnyy Ural) and elloc rides along Bakal station by itself to freight cars (hondolas in the video). Then the train heading by VL22M accelerates and rolls onto the Rudosortirovochnaya station by inertia. Finally, diesel locomotive back elloc to it's parking place and continue shunting.
