This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Do you ever eat out all by yourself? Have you ever thought about going to diner alone? Probably not. The fact is that loneliness is all around us. Marina's concept "Eenmaal" (freetranslation: onemeal) focusses on a one person dining experience. Marina van Goor left an international career behind in corporate law and traded it in for the creative world. She obtained a degree at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, ending her four-year study with a film documenting the significance of design in our modern world. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
