Another game world with a Tilt Shift effect. Experience the story of a “Great on Paper” weapon on the Eastern Front in WWII. In the harsh reality of the muddy Eastern Front, traditional towed anti-tank guns struggled to move through deep mud and required a full crew of eight soldiers to operate. To solve this issue, Germany improvised a solution: the Raupenschlepper Ost 7.5cm Pak 40. By mounting the Pak 40 on the RSO tractor, they reduced the crew requirement from 8 men to just 4, while creating a mobile anti-tank platform capable of firing without needing to be fully unlimbered or set up like a towed gun. However, what looked ideal on blueprints soon faced the brutal test of real-world combat… Watch how this improvised tank destroyer performed on the battlefield. 00:00 Limitations of Towed Artillery 01:10 Towed-Gun Conversion to Tank Destroyers 01:42 Battlefield Employment
