Judging by the shape of the cab, this freight elevator has probably had inner doors from when it was built. It is a nice wire cage construction. There is no counterweight in the shaft, meaning that this might be a winding drum machine. But since the two cables do not shift position in the opening leading to the motor, this may as well be a traction system with the counterweight hidden elsewhere. Although the elevator has been modernized, it still seems to have its old logic for it only remembers one call at a time.
