Leuchars Station is located between Dundee and Edinburgh The Station is managed by Scotrail and with services by Cross Country Trains, LNER and Scotrail all calling here throughout the day: Services here are operate up to three times a hour in each direction (Monday to Saturday) Trains operate up to every few hours in each direction on Sundays. Services here head either towards Aberdeen, Dundee or Edinburgh All services at the time of filming are operated using Class 158, 170 DMU's or Class 43 High Speed Train, all the above are all to be withdrawn with the introduction of purpose built new trains in the coning years. Cross Country Trains services from here were at the time of filming were operated with Class 220/221 Diesel Multiple Units LNER services from 2019 are now operated with Class 800-803 Diesel Electric Multiple Units, these replacing the much older Class 43 High Speed Trains
