FIRST TIME RIDING A SPEEDWAY BIKE IN 11 YEARS!

In this video I head to Milestone Mx Track to meet up with a old time friend Jason Ramirez and his brother Sam Ramirez as they are practicing for the season opening race coming up at Costa Mesa Fairgrounds May 11th. Jason and I have been talking for awhile about getting me back on a speedway bike to spin some laps, The last time I rode a speedway bike was when I was 16 and before then the last time I raced speedway was when I was about 12 years old. So its been quite sometime since I threw my leg over one of these brakeless motorcycles that can only turn left. These bikes are like no normal motorcycle, you have no brakes, 1 gear and can only turn left. To start the bike you have to push start it because the motor's compression is so high that there is no way to kick start it. The bikes run on pure methane alcohol race fuel that dragsters run. Speedway is huge in Europe and not that big over here in the states so theres not a huge scene but it sure is fun to ride.
