We had the honor to speak to Maciej Bakowski, founder of classic rescue coachwork shop is NY. The "Red Pig" project took him well over 6 years to complete and man, what a great story he has. "The were so many moments I wanted to give up on this project. The frustration of finding more rust which made the project so much harder, then, when I got everything installed - the engine, transmission... the wiring started. And I am not the best at it, it's my weakest point. so yeah, there were challenging times. There were periods of 3-4 months where the car was covered and I didn't touch it. I had to take a break. But I love progress. It is my moto in life, I guess. So I took a break and looked at some cool pictures and It brought the memories back and I was like, 'Ok it's time to get back to work'. So if you wanna build something like this, if you don't have very deep pockets, you have to have a really big heart, you know?"
