A unique wine competition in Central Eastern Europe – Winelovers Wine Awards 2023

Nearly 70 people, all of whom are wine experts, including some of the world’s most respected authorities, Masters of Wine, a Master Sommelier, champion sommeliers, WSET graduates and trained wine merchants cam to Budapest in July 2023 in search of the best wines from Central and Eastern Europe. The Winelovers Wine Awards represent the latest generation of international wine competitions, with aims and activities that go beyond traditional wine competitions. The competition was created to give wines from the region a real breakthrough, converting the marketing value of medals into commercial results. The side event to the competition - Winelovers-X – Experts, Exhibition, Exclusivity – is one of the first examples of this. Its aim is also to create a prominent, clear and effective offline platform for professionals and committed players in the wine world to meet and do business.
