Father Hennepin State Park campground has 103 single-family campsites (51 with electric hookups) and is located next to Isle Harbor of Mille Lacs Lake. There are two camping areas including Lakeview (sites 1-62) and Maple Grove (sits 63-103). There are also 6 group campsites available. Campsites are well shaded and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a grill, fire ring and table. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. Free Wifi is also available and the signal is generally strong. Firewood is also available for sale at the park. Outdoor recreation includes boating,  canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water sports, swimming, picnicking, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking and hunting. In the winter, visitors can also enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
