No-Commentary playthrough of "Sabotage at Soulforge" (T2Fix 1.27) Expert Difficulty cw: arachnophobia "I cannot permit this to continue." LCDR Data Like it or not, this is the final mission. Like it or not, we love this mission. Much like us, it is obtuse and strange and, honestly, quite an ordeal to interact with. We disabled a few robots along the way, always careful to maintain some emergency supplies in case of a tricky situation. In particular, we prefer not to mix stealth and crafting whenever possible, and instead we just expend resources to secure the area near the machines. Crafting an extra explosive for the turret room is always a good idea. We just did one, to reduce tedium, but if you really hate the turret room there are extra crafting materials around and you can make a few of them. The Mechanist guards with the Servant masks on are extremely creepy. It's so nice that they only appear in this mission. Garrett is allowed to kill them, but we went for the knockout instead. Perhaps something can be done to reverse their condition? Exercise caution: Robots that resemble spiders appear frequently throughout this video, in the following chapters: 'Creepy corridors', 'Time to get to work', 'Crafting in Bay A', 'Deeper into the Cathedral', 'Into the North Apse', 'More creepy corridors', 'Back across, through the chapel', 'Trouble in the chapel', and 'I really must be going'. We understand that this is a significant proportion of the video, and we regret that, but it's Karras' fault, really. Please note that the in-game subtitles do include somewhat frequent transcription errors, and should be read with caution. Full disclosure: This is an edited compilation that includes quite a few quick-saves and quick-loads. The editing is meant to be relatively seamless, but not intended to be deceptive. We make no secret of the fact that many, many, many quick-loads were used in the making of this video. The gamma (brightness) is set quite high so that you, the viewer, are better able to view the game. One small wrinkle: by default the game has keyboard shortcuts for raising and lowering the gamma setting. These were not disabled, and we did bump the keys a few times during gameplay, so you may occasionally notice a slight variation in the gamma setting throughout the video. We regret the oversight.
