Traxxas Revo 3.3 w/ "Opti-Drive"? No Thanks!

Now don't get me wrong, I honestly Love the Revo chassis! It was definitely way ahead of its time when it was first released. Unfortunately, Traxxas just can't seem to leave well enough alone. And started adding on all these unnecessary electronics to a perfectly good Nitro. I bought my T-Maxx 3.3 back in 2010 and never once had any problems. Because it is a pure nitro rc, kept simple. And worked perfectly! And the Revo 3.3 from 2010 was just the same, kept simple. But now we have " Opti-Drive"... whatever that means...I don't know. I kept adjusting the 2nd gear clutch but I guess this " Opti-Drive" decided that it didn't want it to shift. Anywho... If I decide to keep this rig, I will be pulling ALL Traxxas elctronics from it. Reciever, "Opti-Drive", all servos, and all telemetry sensors. They will be replaced with ProTek servos, a futaba receiver and converted to a Forward Only 2 speed!
