5 Ways to Sublimate on a Black Shirt! | How to Sublimate on Black | Sublimation on Dark Colors

Welcome to this video where we'll be discussing sublimation on 5 different types ofHTV, to make it possible to use sublimation on black fabrics. Sublimation is a process where a substance goes from a solid state directly to a gas state without passing through the liquid state. The first step is to design your artwork and print it out on the transfer paper using sublimation ink. I'm using Crafting Besties sublimation paper. After adhering your HTV, next, place the transfer paper face-down onto the HTV and apply heat and pressure with the heat press. As the temperature increases, the sublimation ink transforms into a gas and penetrates the surface of the vinyl, permanently embedding the design onto it. It's important to note that only specific type of material that is receptive to sublimation ink will work. This video shows glitter, flock, transparent, glow in the dark and easy subli HTV's.
