He provides a masterclass on current events in Iran. Bombing for regime change has never succeeded in history. There's no chance Iran is going to dance to America's tune. After this war is done the Iranians will realise that they should have acquired nuclear weapons before making them rush to acquire them, as North Korea has, leaving the US and Israel worse off than before 28 February. The idea of putting US ground forces into Iran is nuts. This whole endeavour will make Gulf States - who haven't forgotten the Gaza genocide - rethink their future relations with the US. The war might not destroy but it will severely weaken the stranglehold of the Israel lobby over the US foreign policy establishment.
