I realized you see the projects, but you don’t always know the knitter behind them. So today I’m doing the Knitting Confessions Tag and answering 10 brutally honest questions about my knitting life. We’re talking WIP shame, yarn snobbery, expensive skeins, frogging disasters, and the projects (and people!) that still haunt me a little. Here are the questions I answer in this video: The WIP Shame – How many Works In Progress do I actually have right now (including the ones I’m hiding from myself)? The Unpopular Opinion – What popular pattern, yarn brand, or trend does everyone seem to love…but I secretly can’t stand? The “Process” Lie – Do I actually swatch for every project? When was the last time I skipped it? The Money Question – What’s the most expensive single skein of yarn I’ve ever bought? Did I use it, or is it still “too precious” to knit? The Technique Struggle – What’s one knitting technique (like brioche, steeking, or magic loop) that I refuse to do or still haven’t learned? The Gift Guilt – Have I ever knit a gift for someone who didn’t appreciate it? What happened? The TV Habit – Can I knit while reading subtitles or watching a complex show, or do I need “trash TV” only? The “Frog” Fear – What’s the biggest project I’ve ever had to rip back (frog) completely? Did I cry? The Yarn Snobbery – Is there a yarn fiber (acrylic, mohair, cotton, etc.) that I absolutely refuse to work with?
