The Black Pill Philosophy

What is the Black Pill? In several internet communities the concept of the “Black Pill” has become very popular, branching off from the “Red Pill” a form of a “philosophical” pick up artistry. The Red Pill is meant to awaken individuals, usually young men, to the lies that have misguided their attempts at having sex and relationships. The Black Pill is a sort of logical conclusion to the Red Pill concept. Just as the Red Pill wakes you up to “Blue Pill” lies, the Black Pill shows all hope is a lie. But what exactly does the black pill truth look like? A bizarre conglomerate of evolutionary psych and pseudobiology. I talked about the unconscious origin of many of the blackpilled or incel beliefs about biology in a previous video, so I won’t focus much on the individual elements. The full picture given by the black pill is that for a wide variety of reasons, biological, psychological, and most importantly, social, the person watching this is incapable of having sex or meaningful relationships. This is meant to be the “peak realism” of pill ideologies, all others are blinded. To fully understand this concept we have to look at the significance of “Pills”, the Red/Blue dichotomy of waking vs sleeping is of course introduced in the Matrix, which is itself drawing from Alice in Wonderland. But how about we really go through the looking glass? Pills are symbolic representations of Viruses, memetic viruses to be precise, powerful information stored in small easily spread forms. To deny the effectiveness of the Pill ideologies would be a sore mistake, indeed they have overtaken a great deal of popular internet discourse, nearly everyone involved is aware of these pills, there are a great deal of memes, with endless “pill” ideas, green pills, purple pills, iron pills, etc. Each one promising a philosophy you can swallow, and change your life. And they work. These meme viruses literally alter perception through the repetition of certain phrases and ideas, exactly the way I described Martin Cabello’s ability to alter the mindset of his viewers, and the way the Catholic church could alter sexuality through meditations. In this way the black pilled individual lives within their own truth, their perceptions and ideas become deeply skewed, and they act according to these new sensory inputs. In this altering of the senses we return again to the concept of Blindness. The very thing those seeking the Pills sought to escape, each seeking “Reality”. This of course brings us to the pessimism of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, something I’ve given a lot of attention to in the Doomer videos. When the veil rending Dionysian man “takes the black pill” and looks into the Chaotic Abyss, the terrible darkness of Night, but in doing so, man creates restorative light spots, the exact inverse of the dark spots we make after gazing into lights. In this sense the Black Pill simply can not be permanent, we naturally balance any extreme through what Jung calls “Enantiodromia” “the emergence of the unconscious opposite in the course of time. This characteristic phenomenon practically always occurs when an extreme, one-sided tendency dominates conscious life; in time an equally powerful counterposition is built up which first inhibits the conscious performance and subsequently breaks through the conscious control." So all those watching who have taken the Black Pill, even now your unconscious conspires to restore a psychic balance to your life! Another important element in “Pill Discourse” is the philosophy of Mencius Moldbug, and his concept of the “Clear Pill” which essentially functions as a Socratic medicine, the clear pill reminds you that indeed, we are blind, we live within our own illusions, but lacks the “curative” nature of the whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers. When we take apart the Pill Ideologies, and see them as Viral Agents, the massive importance of Memes becomes even clearer. They are capable of altering our very senses with ease, our minds are much easier to infect than our bodies, most of us have not developed a strong memetic immunity, and in truth most are in the midst of life or death battles with these Alien Memes. How then can we discipline our minds and not be misled by just any effective meme? Vigilance, and consistent analysis. Remember, Memes Matter.
