Perception Outlaw 11.5 New Steering System and Trolling Motor Speed Control

After using my homemade steering system on my Perception Outlaw 11.5! I noticed some flaws with the design. The joystick was hard to control and speed hard to find the correct speed I was needing (See previous video). So I came with this new idea of steering my yak and I am loving it. I may change the parachute cord in the future for steering cable! But definitely this is the system I love to use on this setup. The speed is now control with a PWM DC motor speed control ordered from EBay and is the bomb. The trolling motor mount was homemade and designed by myself. I can make you one if needed and I’ll give you all the information you may need to install and replicate my system. Feel free to contact me with any question you may have.
