In our industry, fabricators often have to offer quartz and large-area ceramics in addition to natural stone in order to cover the broad spectrum of customer needs. What is more, the variety of colours and structures of these materials is constantly growing. In our video "Interior colour matched bonding", we introduce you to the different bonding systems and the selection in individual cases. We show you the correct colour matching and present the tools. In addition, the correct application of our adhesive systems should not be missing! Johannes Albert, Head of Application Technology at AKEMI, compares conventional colouring with standard polyesters and colour concentrates with colour-matched bonding with the epoxyacrylate-based AKEMI PLATINUM P+ and Spectrum Pastes. He explains the advantages of the epoxyacrylate adhesives, demonstrates the simple colour-matching with the Spectrum Pastes and presents the different tools, for example the colour fan, the Colour Charts or the Colour Chart App. In another practical demonstration, Johannes Albert shows the easy and safe application (mitre bonding) of the pre-coloured, gel-like 2-component adhesive COLOUR BOND P+.
