When the Pulpit Becomes a Business

In this video, I address the growing conversation around prosperity preaching and how some churches have shifted from preaching repentance and transformation to promoting wealth, status, and financial gain. I examine what scripture actually says and compare it to some of the behaviors we see happening in pulpits today. Jesus Himself confronted religious leaders when God’s house was turned into a marketplace — and that moment still speaks to the church today. The question is not whether God blesses His people — Scripture shows He does. The question is whether the message of the gospel has been replaced with the pursuit of money. Matthew 21:12–13 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple… And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
