Om Sri Sai Ram! Wishing a happy and auspicious New Year to all! Bhagawan once said during his New Year discourse, "We have other New Year days according to the practice in different parts of the country. There is no need to bother about the year as such. Devote every moment to actions that will please God." Therefore, let us pray that this year will be filled with Bhagawan's Divine blessings and grace so that we can carry out His mission with utmost enthusiasm and vigor each and every day. Each New Year's Eve and Day, Bhagawan would bless the alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning with the opportunity to perform dramas and music programs in his Divine Presence. In 2005, the alumni presented a program of devotional songs, nearly an hour and a half of what can only be described as a musical treat. Bhagawan can be seen engrossed in the devotion shown by His children as they extol His glories. This is followed by a short concert by the brass band of the SSSIHL.
