Nuapada By-election: Election Symbols Allotted to 14 Candidates; Key Parties Get Iconic Symbols

Election symbols have officially been allotted for the Nuapada Assembly by-election. The symbols were distributed by the Returning Officer (RO) cum Sub-Collector, Surmi Soren, in the presence of Election General Observer Prakash Bindu. A total of 14 candidates are now set to contest the election. Among the prominent candidates, Ghasiram Majhi of the Indian National Congress has been assigned the 'Hand' symbol, while Jay Dholkia of the Bharatiya Janata Party received the 'Lotus' symbol. Snehangini Chhuria, the candidate for the Biju Janata Dal, was allotted the 'Conch' symbol. Ramakanta Hati of the Samajwadi Party received the 'Bicycle' symbol, and Sukhadhar Dandsena of the Odisha Janata Party was given the 'Flute' symbol.
