I went shopping with my mom and I decided to check the Christian Louboutin boutique in my favourite Marina Bay Sands mall in Singapore. I saw so many beautiful shoes and most importantly I found out that Christian Louboutin can fix a pair of my scuffed heels that I had for over 2 years in my wardrobe collecting dust. I tried to fix these in other shoe repair places and I was told that it was impossible. I am so pleased with this brand, this is one more reason to stick with them. I was also told that if you shop in London or New York, you can get protective soles that match the exact color of Christian Louboutin soles. How awesome is that! I am not sure if there is extra cost (I would thought so), but I would totally do that. I end up buying those protective soles that don’t exactly match the original color.. I have no choice. When I am in London next time, I will definitely visit a store and ask if I can just purchase those and fix the soles in Singapore. I find the shoes from this brand are so timeless. They are perfect to wear to work, going out, for special occasions. Especially if you go with classic colors. I love very functional and comfortable shoes. Just because a pair of shoes is beautiful, it doesn’t mean I have to have it. However I am not going to go with something that is not aesthetically pleasing to me. I have to have balance. I find shoes that are the most comfortable for me have the following characteristics: 1. the heels are no more than 10 cm high 2. the front of the shoes has a round toe area I love to go for patent in general, especially in black color, as this is the most durable material for me (only in black). Lighter colors are prone to color transfer and there is nothing that you can do to remove this. I purchased a very comfortable pair of shoes and I will unbox them next time. Please stay tuned.
