A whirling dervish of energy and fervor, Janet Ivey is an educator who delivers a passionate invitation for educators and students to dance, sing, rap and act their science lessons in what she calls AWE Inspired Science where ART, Wonder and the Experiential become the portal for scientific engagement and scientific assimilation. Janet, founder of Janet’s Planet, Inc., is a dedicated science advocate that believes SCIENCE AND ART belong alongside each other, inspiring and motivating the other to its highest. Janet Ivey's love and passion for children is palatable. She loves first and teaches second. Janet believes that we must let our students create and innovate and find their art alongside their science, that we must create experiences that lead to wonder and that we must use our words and our love to be the brick and mortar foundation that they build their future lives upon. Janet is a Buzz Aldrin Share Science Ambassador and her company Janet's Planet has won 12 Regional Emmys, 5 Gracie Allen Awards and a STEMFlorida Award.
