Knitting Diary -18- Ingrid Sweater / Sophie Hood / Accessaries / Chinese New Year

Welcome back to my knitting diary! In this episode, I’m finally wrapping up the Ingrid Sweater for my husband, and casting on so many little accessories—my Sophie Hood (I’ve officially collected the whole Sophie series!), a pair of socks from a Japanese pattern book I picked up on my last trip, a banana sock, and a few more. Then it’s Chinese New Year time—I head back to my hometown to celebrate with my family. There’s a tradition of wearing new clothes on the first day of the New Year, and that was exactly the motivation I needed to push through the final stretch of the Ingrid Sweater (it’s a huge size sweater!!!). It felt extra special for both of us to welcome the New Year wearing something I knitted by hand😊 I hope you enjoyed this episode.
