This is kind of a story of where I've been, to lay the foundation of where I am going. - After hearing both Trent Reznor and Johnny Cash tell their story through this magical song in such different yet equally as powerful ways, I wanted to see if could tell it too. Singing this song turned out to be a very cathartic opportunity for me to talk about the darkest time in my life. Vulnerable, intense and desperate. It was important healing for me to acknowledge how awful I used to feel, because it paved part of the path that lead me here. ON A LIGHTER NOTE my first album, 'To Build a Sea' is on it’s way to tell the full story, in my own words this time, of the last 6 years or so or my life. 6 years of paving stones.
