Earlier this fall we saw pecans harvested and that made us curious what happens after they leave the farm. So Miller Pecan Company gave us a tour of their pecan shelling operation in Afton, Oklahoma. What a facility! Come along with us and follow pecans as they get enter in shells and leave shelled. There are a lot of steps and a lot ingenious machines that make it happen. Lots of this equipment was manufactured right here in Oklahoma by Savage Equipment in Madill, Oklahoma.
