14 min Quad stretches for Soreness and tight quads. This is a Follow Along stretch routine that's great to do if you have tight quadriceps from running, if you are working on your quad flexibility or if your lower body is feeling sore after a leg workout. This is a beginner-intermediate stretch routine. The way this routine is structured is that we'll be doing some warm up exercises in downward facing dog to get our quads moving and start to warm up our leg muscles. Then diving into some deeper quad stretches in a lunge position as well as pigeon flow towards the end. Use yoga blocks as support as needed - that's always an option! You will also feel the stretches in your hips and glutes. Remember to stretch only as far as what's comfortable for you, hold and breathe. It's always important to be gentle with your body when you stretch, not to push it further. Always check your form and breathe slowly. We'll be holding most of the stretches for 15 to 30 seconds to allow your body to relax.
