Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Resurrection from Gray Matter Studios, Raster Productions, id Software and Activision for the PlayStation 2. In case you're confused by the subtitle, Operation Resurrection is Activision's 2003 port of the 2001 PC release Return to Castle Wolfenstein, a game that was also ported to the Xbox and subtitled Tides of War. The console ports include extra missions, detailing how the badass B.J. Blazkowicz ended up in Castle Wolfenstein in the first place. The new missions take place in Egypt, and in addition to providing the backstory, they also add a few extra hours of gameplay to Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
