I wrote this song to empower myself and help me to remember that what other people think of me does not make me who I am. It’s so easy to get caught up in worrying about what others think when really we have the power to decide if we agree with them or not. And more importantly, we should surround ourselves with people who are nurturing and kind. Well- just read the lyrics. I do a better job articulating in prose.
