Koncheto is a steep and hard-to-reach saddle in Northern Pirin. It is located on the main mountain ridge at 2810 m. It occupies the lowest and narrowest part of the karst edge between the peaks of Banski Suhodol in the northwest and Kutelo in the southeast. The length of the edge is about 400 m, and its narrowest part is about 150 m. In places, its width reaches 0.50 m. The northeastern slopes of Koncheto (400-500 meter walls), which are the object of mountaineering, descend almost perpendicular to the Banski suhodol circus, and the southwestern ones (known as Straneto) at a 70° slope - to the Vlahinska Reka valley. The geological base is made of calcined Proterozoic marbles. For the first time in 1934, under winter conditions, the Bulgarian climbers Nikola Mironski and Lyuben Telcharov passed through Koncheto. Crossing the saddle was made easier with the installation in 1963 of a roped metal railing and the digging of a path along its southwestern slopes in 1969. A marked hiking trail passes through Koncheto from Yavorov hut to Banderitsa hut and Vihren hut. 15 minutes northwest of the saddle is the alpine shelter Koncheto.
