WORLD CLASS Surf Fishing - FLUKE * STRIPED BASS * BLUEFISH - Limits & Keepers. How could you explain a day surf fishing with keeper fluke, striped bass, bluefish limits with all the kingfish and sea robins you want to someone from the other side of the globe? "WORLD CLASS." I worked a lot of the beach and enjoyed the walk. I could have rode one spot but every hollow, nook and cranny held a sea surprise. Every turn seemed to hold a striped bass, bluefish, sea robin and even kingfish. I just wanted to see what was in the next and glad I did. The striper were grabbing the spoons and jigs. A limit of Bluefish, nice tailor blues and one blue looked over 4 pounds. Had the first keeper summer flounder of the season on the old fashion teaser. I think I measured 3 hands or 24" but seemed like 22". The moment of joy. The highlight of the day. A striped bass at 3.5 hands or 28" I called 22" (must have been thinking about the fluke) lunged from the wash and grabbed my popper as I was going to start one of my many 20 second lectures. I say if your going to lecture people keep it short so then its no lecture and more of a ramble. People like ramble. I think you all get the point. Anyhow, if I were to describe the fishing I would call it WORLD CLASS.
