Solo hiking and Wild Camping the Beacons Way which is a 99 mile trail going right through the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. It starts in Abergavenny and works it’s way all the way across the Brecon Beacons to Llangadog. This is my first multi day solo thru-hike and it was an awesome and unforgettable journey. The hike started at the Abergavenny train station. I made my way out of town, through a golf coarse and then up to the summit of Skirrid Fawr. Then made my way up into the Black Mountains where the views were incredible. The Beacons Way then took me down to the remains of Llanthony Priory. I topped up the water then headed back up into the Black Mountains to wild camp for the evening. A very enjoyable first day on the Beacons Way. Thanks for Watching.
