RNG Manip: This score was achieved by constructing a pre-arranged game where every piece and position is known. Then i spent weeks memorising 615 pieces and their placement in order to play out the game to completion. I've used savestates in Mesen and rewind to practice, and i use a metronome to time the start inputs. Inputs: The start inputs consists of navigating the menu screen and level select screen. The two start inputs to both enter the level select screen and to start a game are frame perfect. and they need to be done on a perfect frame after the console was powered on, effectivly making the console power on frame perfect as well. With some practice this can be done at a 15%~ rate. My hit rate towards the end of the grind was around 15%-17%+ while at the start it was ~10%. Stats: The google sheet under the webcam tallies up the amount of runs done in my console grind, i did 710 runs 101 of which hit the correct starting frame and right framerule. you can see a nice distribution that trails off where i hit the frames before and after the correct frame. Framerules: Tetris has framerules, (4 frames long) after each line clear. Because of this a delay between 0-3 frames will happen after line clears, and this will make the RNG different between all frames. Hitting the correct framerule is just a matter of hitting all the correct inputs. This run should not be confused with a standard run where no future piece is known.
