A hifalutin rag and one-step from Henry Lodge (1884-1933), a notable ragtime composer who wrote several popular rags including the enduring "Temptation Rag" from 1909. He was a pianist, composer and writer originally from Rhode Island who was based in New York much of the time. He also wrote "Sure Fire Rag", "Red Pepper", "Black Diamond Rag", "Geraldine" Waltzes among many other interesting compositions. He died early at 49 in Palm Beach, Florida in 1933. This is a reproduction of the original score. Added naturals to the left-hand Bs at measure 68; reformatted from the crowded two pages out to four pages and eliminated the first D.S. jump by adding 16 measures of the repeated A strain in its proper place following the B strain.
