Last night on Dragonball Z, we went to the Justice Dojo, for our Ranked Battle against Ivor, however when we got there Ivor told us, he did not have his Rotom phone to confirm he had a Ranked Battle with us, as his sister Gwynn was the one carrying it for him and she was missing. Fearing Gwyinn had been captured, ivor enlisted the help of Emma, and after following a series of clues, we ended up at a Clawitzer fountain that we froze, to access the sewers underneath. After Ivor punched through a gate and a fake wall, we caught up to Gwynn who wouldn't say what happened until we mopped the floor with her in battle. Gwynn told Ivor, she hid in the sewers for sme peace time and to get away from having to clean all of Ivor's messes, from him breaking all of his Rotom phones, to all the complaints about his refusal to stop battling after Battle Zone hours. Ivor was finally able to confirm we were each other's next Ranked Battle, so we followed him to the Justice Dojo. We beat Ivor and his Mega Falinks, and levelled up to Rank D. The next day, at Hotel Z, Taunie was not present, and Lida came in with the news that Taunie had borrowed money from the Rust Syndicate, leaving Team MZ in debt with their interest. Immediately, we received a call from a mysterious number, requesting we go to the Rust Syndicate Office in the Bleu District. We went there with Lida, and were challenged by grunts who would not let us in. After defeating them, a man called Philippe came out to teach us a lesson for humiliating their guards like that. We beat him and his Mega Skarmori, but these battles are getting harder. He led us to his boss' office, Corbeau. They told us that Taunie borrowed 100k from the Rust Syndicate for a promotional video for Hotel Z, and with the interest accrued, she owed 1m. Corbeau cut a deal, we do some jobs for him for a reduction in the interest, we agreed to do it and returned to Hotel Z. Lida started a strategy meeting for dealing with the Rust Syndicate. When Taunie walked in, Lida confronted her about the debt, turns out Taunie was unaware of the interest she agreed to, the idiot. Vinnie called to tell us of Rogue Mega Evolution cases, Mawile in Magenta District, which we beat with Taunie easily, Barbaracle in the Bleu Disctrict which beat us the first time, we beat it seccond try, and Ampharos which we beat with Naveen, we got the Mawilite, Barbaracite and Ampharosite respectively. After the Rogue Mega Barbaracle battle, L appeared and told us he believes Rogue Mega Evolution might happen to every wild Pokemon in Lumiose, and that the Mega Power disaster began when the renovation of the Prism Tower began. Back at Hotel Z, Corbeau summoned us to do 3 jobs, all of which seemed to be legitimately helping people, which seems off given the Rust Syndicate's reputation. When Corbeau came to meat us a mob attacked Taunie and President Jett from Quasartico Inc, Corbeau and I teamed up to take it down. As thanks Corbeau wiped Team MZ's debt and challenged us to a battle, as luck would have it our next Ranked Battle notification appeared, and it was with Corbeau. Tonight, we'll take on we'll get a Challenge TIcket, and beat Corbeau to get to Rank C. We may even find another shiny, 4 caught organically so far, 2 Fletchlings, 1 Pidgey and 1 Vanillite. We're still building our team, so I'm very open to suggestions, in the meantime I will be levelling up Pokemon to evolve them and complete our Pokedex. Still looking forward to discover more Lumiose City secrets. But first, we'll play a few rounds of the Breakers to keep us entertained! Depending on viewers I may get to reattempt VGC, Ogre Oustin' or Dynamax Adventures, it's been a while... Let's go!!!
