Some are warning of another Rwanda as politicians exploit tribal tensions for their own gain. In the refugee camp in Kericho, some of the half a million displaced are desperately seeking sanctuary. "Because we voted for Kibaki, the tribes of Kipsis and Luo are killing us ," states Henry Nguguna. Politicians are using the name of their tribe in order to mobilize support . Although superficially, Kenya looked like a modern, unified society, policies to reduce tribal tensions were never introduced.
