As I have observed many families become poor due to father takes drinks they spend a large sum of money on drinks. Do you have a plan to educate parents . *our plight observation is that to reduce poverty in Sri Lanka, we must enlighten the head of the family and ask him not to take liquor, smoke cigarettes or take any other drugs. Otherwise, poverty can not be eradicated. According to my point of view , if I were the president of Sri Lanka, I can not eradicate poverty as long as the head of the family takes drinks(liquor), smokes cigarettes. if these people earn 1000 rupees per day they spend more than 500 rupees for drinks and smokes or any other drugs. They do not think of the future or children or wives. In Sri Lanka, many politicians are responsible people for this.they use poor people for their election campaigns to get woke done through these people. During this time, politicians give free of charge meals liquor, cigarettes, and other drugs for them. These people get used to them(liquor, cigarettes, etc), but they are not given money. After the election, these people leave out by politicians, then these poor people have to spend their money on these things. That is why it is very difficult to eradicate poverty in Sri Lanka. Giving money or providing shelter is not the solution to eradicate poverty. Therefore we must change the way people think and behave.
