We start today’s vlog by waking up in the van on the edge of a giant windy neon blue lake. We headed towards the nearest rest stop for coffee and made our way back into Banff National Park. It was still very smoky from the wildfires on this drive. That is until we reached the little town of Field B.C in Yoho National Park after the craziest roads through the mountains. The location of Field is simply spectacular. Quietly nestled in the Kicking Horse valley, surrounded by monstrous mountains along the shallow braids of the Kicking Horse River. We toured the town and got stuck behind trains a couple times. Field B.C started as a tent post along the railway and became the home of the first hotel developed by Canadian Pacific Railways in BC! Next, we headed into Yoho National Park to visit one of the most amazing natural sights we’ve ever seen in our lives, Emerald Lake. Thanks for watching! 😄 We upload a new adventure 3 times a week while we travel, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Noon ET! -------------------------------------- 00:00 Intro 00:22 Windy Morning! 01:16 Coffee + Back Through the Smoke 02:36 Town of Field B.C + Trains 04:54 Quick Lunch 05:07 Hike around Emerald Lake! Keith comes from a bilingual military family and Devon from a Kingston family of teachers. We made it through Queen’s University together where Keith studied Mechanical Engineering and Devon, Concurrent Education and Global Development. Right now we’re travelling across Canada in a Dodge Caravan for the entire month but come January 2022 we have bigger plans in mind. Our goal is to #travel full time, become #selfemployed, and #explore the world while sharing what we’ve learned and capturing our experiences. 🌎✈️📚
