Hey guys welcome back to Enduro Evolution, in this video im rebuilding the power valve from a 2019 300 XC-W TPI. If you're going to be completely disassembling the cylinder, make sure you have all your o rings and parts ready to go, sounds like a no brainer but it could easily be overlooked. Top end kits "do not" come with power valve, gear or exhaust flange o-rings. sold separately 1-POWER VALVE O-RINGS (GREEN) (2) 2-POWER VALVE GEAR O-RINGS (BLACK) (2) 3-EXHAUST FLANGE O-RINGS (ORANGE) (4) (mine came with the new exhaust flange kit from KTM) 1-Start by getting all your parts together, install all o-rings and insert the gears with the teeth facing towards the back of the cylinder, there is a left and right gear, left is marked with a (L) 2-Grease and install the sleeves on the power valve, install into cylinder 3-Install the retaining plated and torque the T-25 screws to 4.3 ft lbs 4-Install gear arm and assembly both sides 5-Set Z measurement 49.5MM 6-Torque 5MM Allen bolts to 7.4 ft lbs 7- Get ready to install the piston TOOLS: -5MM ALLEN SOCKET (7.4 FT LBS) -SMALL TORQUE WRENCH -TUSK DECK/TIMING TOOL ( 300XCW) (49.5 MM) -T25 TORX BIT -ASSEMBLY GREASE -RTV GASKET MAKER (HEAT RESISTANT)(RED) -Blue thread lock (MEDIUM STRENGTH) We highly recommend getting a flange saver when you first buy your two stroke, it's a must have unless you want to be replacing the exhaust flange every so often. The exhaust flange cost me about $450 CAD, the flange saver cost around $60 - $80 CAD We also recommend you buy a metric bottoming tap set.
