In our garden we have an extensive collection of Japanese Maples and Conifers. They are the foundation to the overall garden design. Lately I have been trying to diversify the plant selection but adding different unique companion plants throughout our landscape. These plants really bring some dynamic color and texture. I always try to plant things accordingly to showcase all their characteristics by contrasting them with other plants around. Another great element to these plants is they have fragrant flowers which adds such a wonderful dimension of smell to the garden. Come along as I share a few companion plants in our landscape.
