I am guessing that I might be able to have better vision by 2 1/2 months if it's the same slow healing process as the last surgery. I am so relieved to hear that I am healing normally since this is my first corneal surgery without knowing any outcomes, and I still can't see through my right eye. (I studied that the recurrence rate of lifting and scraping the cells alone has been reported to be as high as 44%.) Also, the burning feeling subsided today for the first time after 7 days post-op. Still, the bright lights are hurting my eyes, and I can't see well yet, but those will heal well after a while, I hope. Of course, Dr. didn't say any of these, and they wouldn't, but with my experience from four major surgeries and four minor laser procedures at the doctor's office on my right eye, I know I will heal after a while. The doctor told me I could use Refresh every hour if I needed to in order to irrigate the eye and continue antibiotics (4 X day) and steroid eye drops (3 X day then 2 X day for another week, then 1 per day for a week) for another week. My eye pressure was 10, so my eye pain is not from the pressure in my eye. It's just healing pain.
