#Honda #hybridcars Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe says the Japanese automaker has pushed its EV plans back about half-a-decade due to, among other things, the geo-political headwinds that are buffeting the all-electric segment. In the meantime Honda has put in motion a well-laid out, next-generation hybrid battle plan with a goal of growing its current global annual hybrid sales from 800,000 to two million by 2030. I had the opportunity to learn more about this next-gen hybrid system and the next-gen mid-size platform that will, respectively, power and underpin Honda’s hybrid offensive that will begin with the 2027 model year.
