Violence broke out in Uttarakhand's Haldwani after the district administration demolished an illegal madrasa and mosque constructed on government land. Two people have died in the violence whereas over 100 people, including many police personnel, have sustained injuries. A high alert has been issued and shoot-at-sight orders given against the rioters.
