Welcome to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia (Canada). Sit back, relax and enjoy the entire journey from the front seat on the upper deck of a BC Transit double decker bus. The route is 72 from Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal to Downtown Victoria. People who arrive by the ferry can take either this bus or the 70 to reach Downtown. The 70 is faster and goes via the highway, but the 72 (as seen in this video) takes a longer route via the smaller roads and is more scenic. This beautiful ride first takes us through the narrow roads of the seaside town of Sidney and along the picturesque Lochside Waterfront. Then comes the East Saanich road winding through the countryside and finally along Elk Lake before reaching Uptown Shopping Centre and turning onto Douglas Street and getting stuck at signals and traffic of the city. A little more than an hour after leaving the ferry terminal, we end the journey in front of the Parliament Building in Downtown Victoria. This is an uncut video in real time. I have only fast-forwarded a short section when the bus halted for about 5 minutes at a stop for a driver change. The bus stops are captioned in white and any other information is given in yellow. I hope you enjoy the ride! :) Date of video: 8th May 2022 A timelapse of the journey in the other direction from Downtown to Swartz Bay on the 70 (the faster bus that goes via the highway) can be seen here: • Bus Ride on BC Transit - Victoria // Bus 7...
