I made a proverb out of a very important concept that is rarely found in books. There are some moves that are not strictly "tataki", but I chose this one because it sounded the best. The tsume-go-like ko that appears from the middle game onwards is a different matter, but the basic rule is not to connect the ko that is often made in the early game.
