I spoke with San Francisco's resident queen producer Joshua Grannell AKA Peaches Christ. Joshua is a highly accomplished visionary of live parody events at the Castro Theatre. These are live productions of cult films. In this case we discussed his upcoming production of Drag Becomes Her, based off the '92 Blockbuster hit, Death Becomes Her, that starred Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn. Famed drag queen's Jinkx Monsoon and Bendelacreme are leading the cast. The two competed on RuPaul's Drag Race with the highest success possible and have gone on to create shows that tour the world as co-headliners. Peaches has also taken his events on wildly successful tours of the world, however they all begin at the Castro Theatre before taking flight. Joshua is also a filmmaker, celebrating the re-release of his streaming horror film, All About Evil starring Natasha Lyonne.
