They started out as a typical US Power Metal band but over the years they experimented with progressive and symphonic elements. The Oliva brothers Jon and Criss were the driving members behind the band but in 1993 Criss passed away. The band has released legendary albums such as Sirens, Power of the Night, Hall of the Mountain King and Gutter Ballet.
