The machine can be used to bevel aluminum, stainless steel, hot rolled and cold rolled steel, or any metal composite. The bench top beveling machine comprises a 19ʺ V-block, which can support parts of any size. The tool also utilizes a milling type cutter head with six carbide inserts. The process of setting up the machine is quite simple. First, release the lock on the side of the tool. Then, turn the dial at the front of the machine, and set it between 1 and 3. Each number represents a 16thʺ cut increase. Place the metal piece on the V-block, and the machine will take care of the rest. The inserts can be changed four times. The inserts can be moved side to side to take complete advantage of the cutter head. The inserts are held tight by one screw.
