Bhiwani Lynchings: Kin of Junaid-Nasir Blame TV NEWS for KILLINGS, Awaits Justice | Clarion India

Watch Clarion India's latest ground report from Ghatmika Village of Rajasthan's Bharatpur District about the lynching of two Muslim men, Junaid and Nasir who were abducted, lynched and burnt to death allegedly by the Cow Vigilantes, Bajrang Dal on February 15, 2023. Junaid, the father of 6 children, was the family's only breadwinner, while Nasir is survived by a wife and his entire family. "The hateful debates that take place in TV news create rifts among Hindus and Muslims, it has a direct effect here in my Village Ghatmika", says Mohd. Jabir, Nasir's Brother who demands justice for Nasir-Junaid and calls for peace in the village and country. Days have passed but the two families and villagers are still in a quest for justice. They alleged slow to no police action in the investigation of the matter. The grieving families ask, "How many Junaid-Nasir will this hate take? When this hate will stop? When these killings will stop? When will this bloodbath end? Mourning and Silence have prevailed in the village as this is not the lone case, villagers expressed fear as they recount the memories of 2017, when Umar from the same village was lynched to Death allegedly by Cow Vigilantes.
